Working is a scam – My First Blog Post

I am creating this blog as a way to express my current frustrations with the work economy I been tossed into. This blog is going to be about finance and the societal expectations placed on the working class. The blog is intended to be both informative and entertaining. I will rant and use poor grammar. Alright enough introduction, time to get onto the topic.

The whole entire concept of work is a scam. Society pushes people into fitting work into every ounce of free time a person has. Deciding to have personal time is a decision I often feel guilty for taking. There are so many clear downsides to choosing not to work. Just to name a few………less money. That really is just it. Less money.

Money is so restrictive to human life. Everything someway somehow leads back to having money. It doesn’t matter whether you are selfless or selfish. You need money. This is what makes having a job so valuable. A job can provide you with a stable income. Choosing to take back your life from a 9-5 will have consequences. But there is a way out of the scam that is work.

FIRE is a movement that encourages people to start thinking about personal finance so that they could take back their lives. It is a movement that I believe more people should follow because the main point of it is to live your life for yourself. No more going to jobs you hate, dealing with condescending people, and no more putting your own happiness last. The idea of working until you are 65 to then finally begin living is a SCAM. I am tired of work today. I am not waiting until I am 65 to start doing things I love. And no the whole “if you find a job you love, then you will never work a day in your life” is another scam. But that’s for another post.

Tldr; Working sucks so its in your best interest to find out ways not to work.
